in death proof, the guy who played a mailman in the tarantino directed double episode "grave danger" of CSI has a small role.

the scene with the girls driving around in austin begins with a shot of the legendary Alamo Draft House.



this is a movie theatre where grindhouse movies are/where shown regularly everey week until this days. it's allso the place where tarantino held his QT film festivals in the past years, showing all sorts of b-movies from his collection. apparently the theatre will be shut down soon and for this event tarantino was there last weekend to host a marathon of selected euro-sex films of the 70's.

Hi I'm French and in planet terror the character is called "wray" at the begining and the sherif, after he knows who his guy called "El Rey"
But "wray" if I remember well is the name of the town in From Dusk Till Dawn
